ABOUT 5000 United Democratic Movement supporters will march to the offices of African National Congress Northern Province premier Ngoako Ramatlhodi, on Saturday, to demand the release of a controversial report on traditional chiefs. Provincial UDM leader Reverend Kingsley Masemola accused the premier on Thursday of wanting to withhold the report until after the June 2 election. The report, compiled by the Ralushai Commission into disputes over chieftainships in the Sekhukhuneland area, was given to Ramatlhodi eight months ago. Ramatlhodi’s spokesman, Kenny Mathiva, said the premier wanted to fully consult with all parties before releasing the report, and that a date for its release has not yet been set. Ramatlhodi has also referred the report to President Nelson Mandela for further study.
