NAMPO MAKES WAY FOR NEW BODY

THE National Maize Producers’ Organisation has been dissolved to make way for a new national controlling body made up of a coalition of the country’s four main grain producers’ organisations. Nampo’s demise was ratified at a congress on a farm outside Bothaville in the Northern Free State on Wednesday. The new grain body will be formally inaugurated at the same venue on Thursday.
