FOUR DIE IN INNER CITY BLAZE

AT least four people were killed when a fire partially gutted a double storey building in central Johannesburg early on Tuesday morning. The fire was believed to have started around 2am. An eyewitness said authorities were likely to find more bodies inside the building, which was situated at the corners of Nugget and Bree streets. Bloodstains could also be seen around the building. Fifteen people were taken to hospital and five had already been discharged. Police believed the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
