Growth in South Africa’s retail sales was little changed at 6,1% year-on-year ( in October at constant prices, compared with a slightly downwardly revised 6% increase in September, Statistics South Africa said on Wednesday.
Statistics South Africa said retail sales grew by 5,6% in the three months to September, compared with the same period a year ago, also at constant prices.
A Reuters poll on Monday showed economists expected October retail sales to expand by 6% year-on-year. — Reuters
