Conclusion on Woolmer’s death expected soon

Pakistan said on Tuesday it expects to hear ”conclusive” word in about two weeks’ time on how national cricket coach Bob Woolmer died during the recent World Cup.
Jamaican investigators ”will take 10 to 15 days to come out with a conclusive report” on the cause of Woolmer’s death, a senior Interior Ministry official told reporters.

Suicide bomber kills 15 at mosque in Pakistan

A suicide attacker detonated a huge bomb that ripped through a Shi’ite Muslim mosque in an eastern Pakistani city during Friday prayers, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens, officials said. Police said that hundreds of people were inside the Zainabia mosque in the centre of Sialkot city at the time of the blast, which severely damaged walls and left body parts scattered inside.

SA man among terror suspects

Three terror suspects who were captured in a raid on a suspected terrorist hide-out in eastern Pakistan were from Kenya, South Africa and Sudan, but it was not clear whether they had any links with al-Qaeda, a spokesperson said on Monday. The suspects were captured by police during a raid on a house in Gujrat early on Sunday after a 12-hour shootout.
