Nicola Plastow

Dr Nicola Plastow is a senior lecturer in occupational therapy in the faculty of medicine and health sciences at Stellenbosch University. Her teaching focusses on the role of occupational therapy across a variety of different mental health settings, including hospital and the community. Her research focusses particularly on mental well-being in old age. Nicola is passionate about supporting adults and older people with mental health problems to participate fully in the activities that are most meaningful to them, and so enjoy a good quality of life.
