Gadaffi’s son outlines new Libyan constitution

Libyan leader Moammar Gadaffi’s son Saif al-Islam Gadaffi late on Monday outlined a planned new constitution for Libya, while stressing his father was among the ”red lines” that could not be changed. ”The important thing is to have a contract that will organise the lives of Libyans,” Gadaffi said in a speech in Benghazi, 1 000km east of Tripoli.

Obese TV-show contestants ‘put at risk’

The ongoing love affair between the American networks and the extremes of reality TV has led to accusations that ABC television has subjected seriously obese people to unacceptable levels of risk in its new show, Fat March. The network has filmed a dozen contestants who weigh up to 235kg as they complete a 920km walk.
