Dual-listed media and entertainment group Naspers announced on Monday that its subsidiary MIH will invest in the soon-to-be listed Beijing Media Corporation, a marketing and advertising sales vehicle for print media in China. MIH will buy 9,9% in the initial public offering of BMC, which will be floated on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 22.

Cecil Orsen was a welcome newcomer when he helped Moroka Swallows to beat Jomo Cosmos 2-1 in their Premier Soccer League match at the Herman Immelman Stadium in Germiston on Sunday. Orsen scored a brace to give Swallows a much-needed win after suffering consecutive defeats from Bush Bucks and Kaizer Chiefs recently.

Pacers Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan claimed the last two wickets on Monday as India triumphed over Bangladesh in the first Test by an innings and 140 runs. Bangladesh were bundled out on 202 after a dismal 184 all out in the first innings. India amassed 526 thanks to 248 scored by star batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
