Durban policeman dies from burns

A 35-year old policeman who was severely burnt in a fire at a Durban police residence died in the early hours of Tuesday morning, police said. The policeman, Sergeant Craig Roach, suffered burns to 65% of his body in a blaze in his 13th floor flat in the South African Police Service’s Natalia building on Monday morning.

NZ ref tells All Blacks to talk more on the field

Leading New Zealand rugby referee Paul Honiss says the All Blacks should chat more to referees, believing it would boost their chance of winning tight Tests. Honiss encouraged senior All Black players to follow the lead of veteran Wallaby halfback George Gregan, who has a reputation for persistently getting in the ear of referees, writes the New Zealand Herald.
