Botswana’s Court of Appeal has suspended a court order for the government to reinstate hundreds of workers fired in a massive strike last year.
Striking Botswana public service workers, expected to end their eight-week strike, have refused to return to work, continuing to protest instead.
Botswana will allow more than 1 400 health workers to re-apply for their jobs after they were sacked for ignoring a court order to end a strike.
