Sri Lanka topple All Stars at Hong Kong Sixes

An All Stars team containing some of the greatest names in world cricket was beaten in the final of the Hong Kong Sixes on Sunday by a team of little-known Sri Lankans. Over two days of carnival cricket, the All Stars — featuring captain Shane Warne, Brian Lara, Glenn McGrath and Anil Kumble — had produced explosive cricket.

Fireworks sparkle as India beat England

On a night of high excitement and fireworks both on and off the field, India beat England by 18 runs in their Twenty20 World Championship Super Eight match at Kingsmead, Durban, on Wednesday evening. Helped by a dazzling innings from Yuvraj Singh, India, who won the toss, made 218 for four in their 20 overs.

New Zealand scrape home against England

New Zealand beat England by five runs to squeak home in their Twenty20 World Championship Super Eight match at Kingsmead in Durban on Tuesday. It was more a case of England throwing away a probable victory — crazy run outs and some reckless batting cost England important wickets — and a possible place in the semifinals.
