Floyd Mayweather doesn’t mind playing a bad guy if it helps make him a rich guy because growing up around criminals has pushed him to become boxing’s top star and an undefeated champion. The unbeaten 30-year-old American trash talker puts his World Boxing Council welterweight crown at stake on Saturday against undefeated English rival Ricky Hatton.

England’s Ricky Hatton is in the best shape of his career for his showdown with fellow unbeaten Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on December 8 for the World Boxing Council welterweight crown. ”He is stronger than he has ever been. I think a lot of guys are going to be shocked at Ricky’s strength,” said Hatton conditioning coach Kerry Kayes.

Unbeaten fighters Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton began the build-up to their December 8 duel in Las Vegas with some verbal sparring on Monday. At a press conference in the Hollywood tourist haven of Universal City England’s Hatton and American Mayweather took turns taking pot-shots at each other as they launched a promotional tour.
