Canadian Alice Munro has won the Nobel Prize in Literature for her contribution towards the short story genre.
Novelist Haruki Murakami, known for works such as "Norwegian Wood" and "1Q84", appears to be the front-runner to win the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Among all his outstanding works, the latest novel by the popular Japanese author is his best yet.
