Rossi wins sixth straight Italian Grand Prix

Valentino Rossi won the Italian Grand Prix for the sixth consecutive time on Sunday and moved within nine points of MotoGP series leader Casey Stoner. It was the second victory this season for Rossi, who also won the Spanish GP in March. Riding a Yamaha, Rossi timed 42 minutes, 42,385 seconds over 23 laps on the Mugello circuit.

Rossi does it again

Valentino Rossi won the Italian Grand Prix for the fourth straight year on Sunday, passing old rival Max Biaggi two laps from the end. Rossi led the first all-Italian sweep of the top four positions in the top motorcycling division and has now won four of the first five races this season.

Schumacher feels good about new car

Michael Schumacher tested his new Ferrari for the first time on Wednesday in a hurried effort to get the car into action and improve on his poor start to the season. ”My feelings are good,” Schumacher said after driving 50 laps in the new car. ”I realised immediately that the F-2005 is fast.”
