Disgraced American cyclist Floyd Landis will have to wait until June at the earliest for a ruling on an appeal to overturn his positive doping test at the 2006 Tour de France after a five-day hearing ended on Monday. Landis, who has denied wrongdoing, made his final appeal in closed-door sessions before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
United States sprinter Marion Jones handed over her five medals from the 2000 Olympic Games to an official of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) on Monday. Once the world’s fastest woman, Jones was hailed as the queen of the Sydney Games, where she won three gold medals, including the 100m, as well as two bronze medals.

A United States arbitration panel has ended deliberations on embattled 2006 Tour de France winner Floyd Landis’s doping case and will reveal its ruling in the next seven days, the American’s lawyer said on Monday. Landis tested positive for the banned male sex hormone testosterone but has maintained his innocence.
