It turns out the ­legendary Afrikaans folk-rock ­troubadour has penned a handful of new songs that each have a “­spiritual” theme to them. But relax. The alternative Afrikaans icon has not suddenly gone gospel. He simply hopes his new songs about the meaning of life might mean something to someone, somewhere.
