WEDNESDAY, 11.00AM:
SOUTH AFRICAN all-rounder Brian McMillan is on his way back home and will miss the quadrangular one-day cricket tournament at the Gaddafi Stadium in Pakistan on Friday. McMillan said he is going home because he has a business to take care of at home.
“Unfortunately something urgent has cropped up and the tour management agreed to release me,” added the 33-year old McMillan.
While McMillan is on his way home, Fannie de Villiers is happy to be back with the rest of the squad. De Villiers, who joined the squad on Tuesday, said: “It’s great to be back. I just wish I had been in the side in Faisalabad. It was a magnificent effort.”
