FIFA on Monday suspended Cameroon from all international competition for an indefinite period following a ticketing scandal which surfaced at the World Cup in France.”FIFA is forced to suspend the Cameroon Federation (Fecafoot) with immediate effect and for an indefinite period,” FIFA said in a statement.FIFA accuses Fecafoot of not applying an emergency plan to deal with the ticketing scam. Cameroon will now no longer have the right to vote at FIFA’s congress or compete internationally.A FIFA delegation travelled to Cameroon last autumn to shed some light on the affair which has thrown Fecafoot into disarray.Fecafoot’s administrative council had already dismissed its president Vincent Onana amid allegations he was involved in the trafficking of World Cup tickets allocated to the Cameroon football federation.
