GENOCIDE SUSPECT NABBED IN SA

A FORMER mayor in the Rwandan town of Mabanza, wanted in connection for the 1994 genocide, was reportedly arrested in South Africa on Thursday and handed to the United Nations Court. Radio reports on Saturday said that Ignance Bagilishema was arrested in Pretoria for visa violations. He has been on the run since 1995 after he was indicted on genocide charges. His arrest has not yet been confirmed by South African authorities.
