GHANA’S under-20 soccer team, the Black Satellites, returned home on Tuesday from Nigeria after being eliminated by Spain last Sunday in the ongoing World under-20 soccer championship in Nigeria. Thousands of enthusiastic Ghanaians thronged the Kotoka International Airport in Accra to welcome them. In his welcome address, Minister of Youth and Sports, E.T. Mensah said although the team left with the “hope of winning” the tournament, they lost gallantly at the quarter-final stage.
