NEW LIBYA CONFRONTATION?

A REPORT by British police into the shooting of a policewoman 15 years ago, allegedly from inside the Libyan embassy in London, is expected to name her killer, The Sunday Times reported. It said Scotland Yard’s report may well spark a new row with Libya with fresh demands for Tripoli to hand over the suspect and accomplices, all believed to be Libyan.Home Secretary Jack Straw will announce on Monday that he will take delivery of the report shortly, it added. If London does then request the handing-over of the suspect, it is likely to provoke a row similar to that which held up the Lockerbie bombing case for so long.
