ZUMA’S WIFE DISCHARGED

THE wife of Deputy President Jacob Zuma, who was attacked at her home in KwaZulu-Natal over the weekend, has been discharged from Eshowe hospital. Police said Sizakhele Zuma was sleeping at her home in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday night when three men broke into the house and attacked her at gunpoint before ransacking the house. The men stole about R320, an electricity generator, a television set and her husband’s traditional dress. She was severely beaten and was admitted to hospital in a serious condition. Although he has not commented on the incident, the Deputy President is reported to be outraged.
