PUBLIC Service and Administration Minister Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi has clashed with Home Affairs Minister Mangosuthu Buthelezi over his appointment of a controversial figure to head the misconduct hearing against his disgraced director-general, Albert Mokoena, the Sunday Times reported. Four months after it was revealed that Mokoena was using his office to run a professional basketball team, Buthelezi finally appointed someone to prosecute the case against him. But the man he chose, Correctional Services Commissioner Khulekani Sitole, is also being investigated for corruption and misconduct for allegedly running a soccer team from his department. Fraser-Moleketi appealed to Deputy President Jacob Zuma to intervene. The deputy president said he was waiting for the ministers to sort out their differences over the appointment of Sitole. He would intervene if they did not find a solution.
