THE Daily Mail & Guardian, South Africa’s best-read news website, has launched an expanded sports section, ZA*SPORTS. It is part of a joint venture with the country’s top independent sports agency, MWP.
Some of South Africa’s best sports journalists including Neil Manthorp, Andy Colquhoun, Craig Ray, Michael Vlismas, Michael Finch and Telford Vice will provide daily match reports, features and sports editorials.
The Mail & Guardian’s popular soccer correspondent Andrew Muchineripi will also write daily reports on local soccer.
Included in the coverage will be reports immediately after big matches, full coverage of weekend sporting action and in-depth analysis of developments and trends.
