FIVE thousand scientists from a hundred countries have voted Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens among the top seven botanical gardens in the world, SABC radio news reported on Friday. Brian Huntley of the National Botanical Institute said recent improvements in research, education and visitor facilities had helped to position Kirstenbosch as a world leader.
