ANGLOGOLD chief exectutive Bobby Godsell argued for an open immigration system in South Africa, in order to boost productivity nad compete globally early this week. He said South Africa benefits from foreigners and that he is in favour of illegal and legal immigration. Difficulties in getting work visas for foreign workers has stifled local business, he said, and argued that greater tolerance for immigrants will help break down racial divisions in business, as it has in the US.
