ITALIAN airports operator Aeroporti di Roma (ADR) said on Friday it will consider increasing its stake in Airports Company South Africa once the group is listed. ADR’s managing director Gaetano Galia said ADR is helping ACSA develop aviation infrastructure before taking a decision on whether to buy further shares in ACSA. ”We’ll take the decision to buy a further holding in ACSA when it is listed and as the board we are yet to discuss this matter,” he said. ADR currently owns 20% of ACSA through ADR International Airports South Africa Ltd. It paid R819m ($134m) for the stake when ACSA was part privatised in April 1998 and retained an option on another 10%.
