WANDERERS, AJAX DRAW

AJAX Cape Town and African Wanderers had to be content with sharing the spoils after they played to a 1-1 draw in an exciting Premier Soccer League match at King’s Park Soccer Stadium in Durban on Saturday. The half-time score was 0-0. Wanderers took the lead in the 70th minute when defender Abram Lethebe beat the offside trap and then advancing goalkeeper Marlin with a shot from the edge of the box. Theo Hempe equalised for Ajax in the 79th minute, giving them a point from the match.
