CHRISTIAN Cullen is likely to play at centre for the New Zealand All Blacks in their World Cup campaign starting against Tonga on Sunday allowing winger Jonah Lomu to return to the starting line-up. Early indications from the All Black camp suggest that Cullen will join Alama Ieremia in the centres with Lomu and the dreadlocked Tana Umaga on the wings. The other problem position for the All Blacks, blindside flanker, will probably go to the Canterbury Crusader’s Reuben Thorne. Lomu, whose feats at the 1995 World Cup in South Africa made him the world’s best known rugby player, has been used as tactical substitute this year after coach John Hart’s decision to switch Cullen and Jeff Wilson.
