MADIBA’S GOLDFISH POND RAIDED

A POLICE inspector from the National Protection Service has appeared in court for allegedly stealing a “Checkers bag full of goldfish” from Nelson Mandela’s new R4-million house. Inspector Petrus Kotze of the protection service’s Rondebosch office was arrested on Tuesday and appeared in the Wynberg court the same day. His case was postponed until November 30 for further investigations. he has been suspended from further duties. The incident happened on October 17 when October 17 when Kotze and a colleague visited Mandela’s new house. the fate of the goldfish is not known.
