BARKER QUITS AMAZULU

CLIVE Carker, former Bafana Bafana coach, has resigned from his position as coach of Durban Premier League club AmaZulu.

Barker’s resignation follows a string of five consecutive defeats suffered by AmaZulu over the past weeks. The club has only won four times this season.

According to AmaZulu managing director Adriaan Muller, Barker’s resignation is a mutual decision between the former coach and the club’s board of directors.

A new three-member coaching staff led by former Orlando Pirates player Gavin Lane has been appointed by the club’s management.
