THE South African Sevens rugby team has included two new caps in the 12-man squad to take part in three IRB World Sevens series tournaments in New Zealand, Fiji and Australia.
Eastern Province winger Wonga Joka and Border under-21 wing Tobela Mdaka join the squad as rookies while Edrich Fredericks, who last played for SA in 1999, returns to the squad.
Herman Mostert and Gerrie Engelbrecht, who were drafted in for the South American leg, also remain after the loss of five players to the Super 12.
Roger Smith (Sharks), Chester Williams and Mac Masina (Cats), Paul Treu and Hannes Venter (Bulls) have all joined their Super 12 squads.
