EGYPTOLOGY CONFERENCE ATTRACTS THOUSANDS

MORE than 1400 ancient Egypt specialists from 50 countries will gather near the Great Pyramids of Giza next week for the eighth International Congress of Egyptologists. Subjects such as the “origins of the alphabet in the Egyptian western desert,” x-raying mummies and “women in the cult of Isis” will be discussed during the nine-day meeting starting March 28th.
