THE Wellington Hurricanes scored their first win over the Canterbury Crusaders in the Super 12 when they triumphed 28-22 in a pulsating encounter in Wellington on Friday night. The Crusaders, bidding for a third Super 12 title in a row, outmuscled their opponents in the scrum but could do little to resist the power and invention of the Hurricane backs in front of a sell-out 35000 crowd. All Blacks Christian Cullen and Jonah Lomu scored two tries apiece while flyhalf David Holwell produced an immaculate kicking display to land all four conversions, three of them from the touchline.
