GRACA Machel, former first lady of both Mozambique and South Africa, opens a 400-strong Global Summit of Women in Johannesburg on Thursday which will concentrate on economic issues. The three-day conference, being held in Africa for the first time, will include an economic profile of the African woman, issues surrounding e-commerce and e-business, infrastructure as the key to business growth and opportunities, and the impact of AIDS and war on business development. – AFP
