CASTRO, ZUMA SEEK MUTUAL AID

CUBAN President Fidel Castro has met with South African Foreign Minister Nkosazana Zuma to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. Zuma and Cuban officials signed a preliminary accord setting up a joint Cuban-South African commission that will be formalised during SA president Thabo Mbeki’s visit to Cuba in March. One of the areas of cooperation will be search for affordable anti-HIV drugs.
