SA CONFIDENT ON SWISSAIR?S SAA OPTION

SOUTH Africa’s Public Enterprises Minister Jeff Radebe says he is confident SAirGroup would exercise its option to buy another 10% of South African Airways this year. SAirGroup, the parent of Swissair, already has a 20% stake in SAA. Radebe also confirmed that the government planned to pursue an initial public offering of SAA in 2002, although he declined to give any further details. – Reuters
