DURBANITES should stop being negative about their city, Durban unicity mayor Obed Mlaba said on Wednesday. “We should stop comparing ourselves to cities like Cape Town,” he said. “In fact, Cape Town can stay with its moffies and its gays.” Mlaba made these remarks during his address at the announcement of the 10-member board of the newly formed Durban Investment Promotion Agency, which will be responsible for marketing Durban to investors and will provide one-stop information and support service to new and existing investors.
