TWO South Africans on trial for murder in Botswana were not legally extradited to that country, says a justice ministry spokesman. Paul Setsetse said the two men were arrested by South African and Botswana police in the North West province a few weeks ago. However, it subsequently emerged that they had not been legally extradited from South Africa. Botswana police had initially believed the men were Botswana citizens, he added. – AFP
