SECURITY guards at the New Canada railway station in Soweto on Saturday found a plastic bag containing 11 false South African identity documents, Soweto police said. Inspector Mbhazima Shiburi said the security guard was patrolling the area next to the railway tracks when he came across the plastic bag. Shiburi said the picture in all the identity documents were the same, but the names, surnames and identity numbers differed. The birth years in the id numbers ranged from 1957 to 1967, he said. ”We have not been able to trace the real owner of the documents, but we think that he saw the police patrolling the train, got scared and threw the bag out the window.” – Sapa
