Three girls between the ages of 10 and 15 were raped and a woman was gang-raped and her boyfriend murdered in separate incidents in the KwaMhlanga area of Mpumalanga this week.
Captain Malcolm Mokomene said a 10-year-old girl was repeatedly raped by a tenant in Mhluzi. Another girl aged 11 was allegedly raped by her uncle. It was alleged the man had been indecently assaulting the minor for several months.
In another incident in Vosman, a 15-year-old girl was raped while on her way home after an unknown man had an argument with her boyfriend.
The SABC reported that Mpumalanga detectives were searching for two men following the gang-rape of a woman and the murder of her boyfriend in Kgobokoane. – Sapa
