Adding to accolades awarded to the Mail & Guardian, environmental writer Fiona Macleod was a finalist and received a merit award in the 15th South African Breweries Environmental Journalists of the Year Awards this week.
Macleod was honoured for her articles in the M&G covering a wide range of environmental and conservation-related topics. She is also editor of Earthyear magazine, a sister publication of the M&G that focuses on sustainable development.
She edits Greening the Future-Investing in the Environment, an M&G supplement aimed at encouraging best practice and corporate invest in the environment and is chairperson of the judging panel of The Green Trust Awards.
