Silvers Stars goalkeeper Donald Themeli cost his side a share of the spoils as Supersport United ran out 1-0 winners of their Castle Premier League soccer match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night.
The goal was scored by Peter Khoabane in the 65th minute.
Khobane received a cross from Daniel Matsau and the former took full advantage when Themeli fumbled the ball. As the ball came back into play Khobane headed the ball home.
The goal seemed to inspire the visitors as they surged forward.
Tsweu Mokoro nearly scored a second goal but his powerful shot went wide in the 69th minute.
The match had to stopped three times for a total of 46 minutes due to the failure of the pylon of lights nearest the grandstand. — Sapa
