Four-goal victory for United

SuperSport United hammered Silver Stars 4-0 in a lively Castle Premier League encounter played at Securicor Loftus on Wednesday night.

United led 1-0 at half-time.

This important victory for United was orchestrated by midfielder Tsweu Mokoro, who scored a brace within 10 minutes in the last quarter of the game.

United opened the scoring from the boot of striker Abram Raselemane, after finishing a clever pass sent by Sibusiso Mahlangu in the 20th minute from which the visitors never recovered.

Three minutes into the second half, United increased their lead through a long-range strike from substitute midfielder Cavann Sibeko. Sibeko struck a loose ball that had rebounded off a Stars defender from a corner taken by Mandla Zwane.

Then, Mokoro, took matters into his own hands to see off the visitors with two brilliant goals in the 59th and 69th minutes.

His first was a well-taken header from a tight angle from the cross supplied by Raselemane and he finished off the game with a tap-in from another Raselemane feed. — Sapa
