Baxter picks team for Burkina Faso match

Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter on Thursday named 28 players for next Saturday’s 2006 World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso at Olen Park, Potchefstroom. The squad will be trimmed to 18 players next Tuesday.

Goalkeepers: Moneeb Josephs (Ajax Cape Town), Hans Vonk (Ajax Amsterdam, Holland) and Calvin Marlin (Supersport United).

Defenders: Neil Winstanley (Wits University), Aaron Mokoena (Genk, Belgium), Mark Fish (Charlton Athletic, England), Jacob Lekgetho (Lokomotiv Moscow Russia), Bradley Carnell (Moenchengladbach, Germany), Lucky Lekgwathi (Orlando Pirates), Nasief Morris (Panathinaikos, Greece).
