Bush Bucks shared the points with Dynamos in a two-all entertaining Castle Premiership league match at the Absa Stadium, East London, on Wednesday night.
The home side were the first to settle down, giving the visitors an early scare. Bucks opened the score in the eighth minute with Mhlonishwa Mbambo’s header past Dynamos goalkeeper Abram Khwenenyane.
Dynamos were unlucky in the 19th minute when their goal was ruled offside by assistant referee Luyanda Somi.
Dynamos levelled the score in the 31st minute when Sandile Ndlovu finished off a stylish interpassing move with Soul Mmethi.
The visitors continued putting pressure on the Bucks defence with Ndlovu spearheading the attacks. In the 45th minute, Dynamos took the lead through Nicholas Mkhabela.
Mkhabela received a back pass from Ndlovu, who was a thorn in the Bucks defence’s side, and fired a volley into the net, putting the half-time score at 1-2.
At the beginning of the second half, Bucks coach Bruce Grobbelaar introduced Marvin Klaasen for Phumlani Mhamha.
Bucks equalised in the 50th minute after a beautiful solo run by Mandla Nxumalo.
In the 74th minute, referee Kader Degoede gave two red cards — to Dynamos goalkeeper Khwenenyane and Bucks defender Klaasen after they exchanged blows.
Dynamos coach Lefa Quosha was forced to substitute Mmethi for second-choice goalkeeper Arthur Bartman, but the score remained two-all. — Sapa
