Behind every superstar…

United States film star Leonardo DiCaprio revealed in a German women’s magazine that he hopes one day to find a woman who is ”at least half as good” as his mother.

In the interview appearing in the Frau im Spiegel magazine, the 30-year-old actor says he puts a lot of importance on such qualities as friendship and humour in a relationship.

”I really do hope that I can find a woman who has at least half as many qualities as my mother,” DiCaprio said.

He says he owes his mother everything — a woman who was also his moral compass.

The actor also cautioned women about their prospects of matching up to his mom. ”No woman can compare with her,” he said.

DiCaprio is drumming up publicity for his new film Aviator in which he plays the legendary industrialist and pilot Howard Hughes, who suffered from serious neurotic compulsive behaviour.

DiCaprio said he had his own experience with such compulsive behavioural traits.

”As a child, walking home from school, I did not want to step on certain pavement stones — but if I did, then I would go back a block,” DiCaprio said. He said every person has compulsive traits to a certain degree. – Sapa-DPA
