Bush Bucks suffered yet another Premier Soccer League defeat when they lost 2-1 to 10-man Thembisa Classic in a closely contested match at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday night.
The half-time score was 0-0, but the home team came back strongly in the second stanza and went ahead in the 47th minute when Collen Zimba finished neatly for a deserved lead.
That became 2-0 in the 83rd minute when Bradley August made sure of the points with a well-taken strike.
Bucks did, however, scored a consolation goal in referee’s optional time by Mduduzi Mdladla, but it was a case of too little too late, as the home team had done enough to secure maximum points. – Sapa
