Charges against two of the three men linked to recent train deaths in Gauteng were on Wednesday temporarily withdrawn in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court, police said.
Spokesperson Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini said the court heard that there was not enough evidence to prosecute the two.
The third suspect, Heiken Sejaphala (27) was charged with murder and robbery.
Sejaphala, a security guard, was remanded in custody and would appear in court again next week.
The three were arrested in Ivory Park at the weekend.
A total of eleven people have been arrested in connection with the recent spate of train deaths in Gauteng.
