New leaders chosen for Limpopo PAC

The Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) has chosen a new top structure at its provincial congress in Limpopo, a spokesperson said.

Mudini Maizha said on Sunday that Japie Ligege was chosen as the new chairperson for the party in the province. Morwamotshi Ntwampe is his deputy, while Elvis Molapo is the new secretary.

David Mahapa is the deputy secretary and Davic Kholophe is the new treasurer.

Maizha said there was intense campaigning for the position of national party president. A new national top-structure for the party will be chosen at the national congress to be held in the Free State in September.

More than 300 delegates and 500 observers from 75 PAC branches in Limpopo attended the weekend’s congress. — Sapa
